We are so excited! It been a long time coming! YAY!

Butler,PA I had a Blast with all my family my mom and I spent 4nights and 5days with all the family. Enjoying my cousin wedding, rodeo and fireside talks catching up on everything we missed. I even got visist with my great grandma which is 95yrs old. It was great to see everyone and catch up, it reminded me when i use to go up there every summer and stay.

Summer Garden Ends/Fall Garden Begins

This some of what is left of the summer garden. In the garden now is a growing watermelon, lettce and okra. We've had so much fun with our first garden, we planted a fall garden which contains bib lettce,celery, poatoes,swiss chard,cilantro and red onions. I'm very excited to see what the fall will brings us.

NYC vacation

We've been in NYC for about 3days and its been compeletly differnt to Texas. Staying 8days and 7nights in what ppl believe to call the big apple. The culture is rich the food is awesome! This such a great state to tour. The weather is really different! Its been about 80 degrees as the avg which doesnt compare to Texas heat. It not hot at all with a nice breeze. From which im hearing we are escaping the texas heat wave which is top to 106 degrees. I have even chill in the evenings in the lows 70-65degrees. NYC is beauiful as far as I know. We are learning so much staying in the city and different kind of ppl that live here.

Perfect Weekend..Shopping Saturday for our trip and Sunday Gardening. I found 7 cucumbers and the garden a bloomed sunflower and handful of okra! I love gardening this just our first year of gardening and I love it! Each day I go outside in my backyard to check on the garden. It's relaxing and enjoyable. I'm starting to plan out the fall garden pretty soon.

8 Days and counting

I'm so ready to have a week away from work and stress! 8 days intil vaction to NYC I am very excited to see my sister. I can't wait intil everything falls into place :D

Vent/Problem almost solved

I had hope this was going to be the last doctor appointment to see this inferitily doctor but it won't be. Today I was suposed to find out if my labs went okay and do a sonogram to check to make sure everything looked good. Well they found septum in my uterus which is might causing to continue to have a misscarriages. I'll have to have a out patient sugery (this sucks). I really wanted this to be and I really wanted to start a family. I feel like this only thing miss in our life so therefore we move on and keep pushing. After the crappy news at the doctors office we went to eat at Jakes which is famous for their hambugers. It was our first time eating there it was actually good. After filling up on hambugers we headed to visit grandma which is always nice to vist them. I wish I had met my grandma before she passed away. We got to chat for a while and I think thoses are the best time to make memories. Off to my favorite place BN (Barnes and Nobes) I grab yet another planner hopefully this is the finally one for the year. Drank some coffee and relax. I'm so happy to actually spend time with my husband. Overrall it was a great day :)

Garden update 7

July has been filled with summer showers with the plus of the garden growing! Enjoying the fruits of our labor ;D

Hard to Break Habits

We (Rodney&I) signed up for a website called mint.com well its suposed to keep track of all your spending habits. It gives you an idea where all your money is going. For June we spend over $600 on fastfood resturants and about $300 on groceries. which does not make any since because it just all goes to waste. After our vacation is going to be budget make over/debt recovery. I want to foucs on paying majority of our debt down and breaking bad habits. On making sure we focus on saving for our future. I can't believe some of the spending we do, I think we both have a bad habit of buying "something" everyday! its so easy just to slip that supied card!

Annoyed

Well today I cleaned ALOT I feel better much better. I'm ready to start TTC(trying to conceive), I am excited because that's going to my main focus and also reading good books! I finished 3rd book in the Night of House series. So on the 4th book I am very excited! Today Rodney& I got up early got nice bath did some vacation planning than went to lunch at Taco Bell for a little while. We got home I took a short nap than Rodney left and came back around 3:30pm and has been in LA LA world since than and its 8:36PM. He still hangout with his friend. I am annoyed it was suposed to be our day to hangout and be together. I am just literally frustrated! I hope tommrrow is better!

Summer School is Over

Today was my finals and I'm done with school for a couple of months. Thank you god. At one point I felt like I was dragging myself thorough gravel. I've been attending school for a while and I'm just ready to be either done or stop it all together. IDK I'll just see where everything leads. I'm going to start reading book's again, good books. I am starting back reading the Night of House series. I haven't picked up my NOOK in such a long time. Wednesday which is going to be tommrrow is going to be Rodney&Katrina day. Its been just under 2wks we have actually done something fun together and made it a date. Plus We both haven't had the same day off together. I am super excited about doing "something" fun together. Life is great :)

In counting

This week I am counting..yes! counting for how days till summer school ends, until we get to go to NYC and see my sister not final not least intil my next ovulation day. I keep looking at the calendar but yet we still sit on the same day every minute I look at my calendar. I guess you take for grant simple things of life. I am so excited school is going be out Tuesday, I'm ready to find out what happens next in the Night of House Series and start reading Sookie Stackhouse books.

This week as well I'm going to hopefully find out my labs results for my last doctor appointment and also see if another doctor can look over my chart. I'm not happy with this other doctor recommend by someone. He was just plain out rude! I guess he didn't like that I was so young or what but I was not happy. I'm really ready to start TTC each time we have a set back or problem it just urges me to continue and really make this happen for the both of us. We will keep praying.

At the end month we get to go NYC, I am super excited to go not just for the city but to see my sister. I haven't see her in over 2 years now and that just plain too LONG! ha. I WILL continue to be anxious.

Fourth of July = Working ugh. But hopefully Wednesday I'm off work and so is my husband and were going on a date! YAY! Ta Ta for now..

Wake up Call!

I signed up for account called mint.com which calculates and keeps track of spending. Today I had a chance to sit down and review our spending. WoW it was a shocked on all the areas of I call wasteful spending. This month has to be the end of all this extra spending! I thought we were doing a great job with our money but the website tells otherwise. Reviewing everything I would have to say it just changes alot of things. Our spending habits got to change for the better. After our vacation. We will be working on goals such as spending and paying off debts and have a structure budget plans for the future.

The best of everything! Together nothing can stand in our way. If we have troubles and obstacles in life we face them together. We grow together and strong together.

Camera! :)

I got a camera today ;) I am so excited! I want to prove to my best bud that I can take plently of pictures and not just one or two..NE who its a Kodak Easy Share camera way better than my Nikon Coopix camera. The picture quality is much better. I'm excited to start taking pictures like crazy person. I'll start off taking photo's of Ft Worth Music Awards this sunday. BTW the picture above is picture of our dog Tyson a full blooded Lab our proud and enjoy :)

June weather is getting to our garden

My garden is well wilting from the hot weather and the bugs eating the leaves. I would have to say this is an intresting experience gardening! Our other gardening box is well pushed over by all the high wind of Texas. Okra has made a good strong hold in the heat but everthing is dry. Anyone have an suggestions to my garden?

Working to Improve

Well, as I mention in my last blog posted..we went to galveston and somehow sand just got everywhere. My camera keeps on saying lens error, I think their might be sand in the camera. YAY! I've been wanting a new camera for the longest time! Don't get me wrong I really like Nikon cool pix camera but it takes forever for it to take pictures. The moment usually goes and comes by before you can snap a picture. It takes really good pictures other than that. I'm on the market to buy another camera yay! I gonna prove to my husband that I can take pictures and that I deserve a new camera. Plus our trip is a month away! YAY! exciting! BTW We are going to be staying in NYC for a week..touring the city and visiting with my sister. I am very excited to see my sister. I haven't seen her since the weding!

Summer is off to a good run! We've had some health issues (TTC) but that's okay. I hope to find some answers soon. I will keep praying that one day we will get our bundle of joy at a perfect time.
Summer school is going by really fast, its hard to study again this semester. I'm just ready for a BREAK! idunno if just if I'm getting older and tried of it oR what! I think june has been really hard for me.

Work is changing for what you called like it..love it and now hate it and wanna cry. I consider working on a different floor but I've been there almost 5yrs.

I just think my stress levels are really high.. we went to galveston to get away and helped me relax alot which was awesome!..
Once we got back so did everything eles hopefully my restless nights go away and school ends on a good note.

Garden Update 5

I need HELP. I'm not having fun with this gardening something is eating at all the plants. I killed my watermelon. :( Some of the seeds i planted didnt even grow.

House Warming Party

Saturday May 15th 2010
The party was a hit! All of our family members came, the house was so crowed but it was great! For the Menu Buffalo Wild Wings assorted favors, a veg platter, a fruit bowl, cocktail shrimp and drinks! It turn out great! everyone loved the house. I think everyone had a good time and so did Rodney and I. It really does feel like a home since everyone came by and visited us.

Our Building Story

We started June 09, both of us wanted to start look for houses .We really didn't have a set price range or any other long list of things we wanted. We just wanted to see what we could get in a reasonable price range and areas. I've always watch this program on TV called Hot On Homes which shows builders and community's in the DFW area . We weren't sure on if we wanted to build or buy pre~existing. This first builder we went to was History Maker, we knew from right than and there we wanted to build a home. During that time the government had a deadline for the 8,000 tax inventive for new home buyers. We jumped on the gun and started the process. 9months later up & downs we finally close on our home February 28 2010. We have enjoyed being homeowners ever since we signed on the dotted lines.e we signed on the dotted lines.

I Failed!

I failed my math class, I'm a little sad not disappointed or upset. Most of the material we went over this semester is some new things I have never seen before or even try to work out in my life. It was a beginner's Algebra remedial class so it doesn't count for my GPA is just a catch up course. I'm actually glad to retake the course because this how I feel: that is first time I have ever seen some of the material, failing allows me retake it know that i know what to expect next time, I'll feel confident know that i know how to do it rather than just passing the class. this my spill..now on to the fun stuff I'm off for 2 1/2 weeks YAY! there is some fun filled things packed for my little break! I'm excited!.

Thing's Our On the Move

May is such a busy month for us, but I love IT! Tomorrow is the last day for the spring semester YAY! I'm ready I will actually have 3wks off to do all things needed and plus some in till June 1st. Here's some updates

May 3rd Wedding Anniversary, we actually celebrated it this weekend by just being together and spending time in our new home. It was a wonderful 2ND anniversary!

May 6Th I won the PCT (Patient Care Tech) Excellence Award!Awesome! I was so excited to hear I won. I do take proud in my job even though some ppl I know think its Sm but I try to impact though around me.

Over the weekend; We did some small yard improvements we brought Scotts turf builder. Apply the turf builder to a small area where we keep our trash cans. the most muddy places in our yard. I'll be excited how fast this turf builder grows because it says on the back it can grow on concrete so it must work! We also brought more strawberry's and a Mexican Lime tree. I will post pictures later on this week its been really cloudy.

May 9Th Mothers Day: A disappointment in one angle. here's the drama story. We decided to invite IN Law's over for mothers day dinner we told them about the dinner 8am Sunday morning. I wanted to cook spaghetti but she wanted some more healthier example Salmon no problem right?
After talking to her on the phone we went to the store and brought 2 salmon filets which was $24.99 and Crab legs $8.99 wow seafood is starting to add up. Fresh green beans and rice. Rodney had to work for a couple of hours so I got the house ready and waited til he got off work. It was about 4:45pm and I told him to call his mother and tell her that dinner was going to be ready at 6:30pm so if they wanted to head out than that would be fine.
Well turns out that she already ate and she didn't want to come over. WOW a big slap in the face. (now I know why i dislike her)
I mean we did go out of our way to make a nice dinner even change what I am cooking and she doesn't even come. Thanks really! Drama..Drama..Drama. I'm thinking in back of my head when we do if ever have a baby and you want to be apart of our child life i will remember this day and time. really! After all that my mother came and we had a good time she ate dinner and watched Knocked up. That was our mothers day.

So I'm basically off this whole week! which is super nice so I can study for finals and also this coming up week is our housewarming party. yay! I'm try to keep updating my blog and also get some more pictures up :)

Garden Update 5

Some Updates on our Garden and progress

Finally our lettuce is growing!

















Added rods to the peas to allow them grow up and eventually taking away the pencils once they are at a bigger height.

Also We found out this week we have many critters in our backyard! Rabbits a whole family, a frog and I found looks to be a Caterpillar it was brown&black and very furry.















Our Backyard grass if filling in. It still has some patches as you can tell in the picture but what progress we have made!
















First picture of our front yard; We added melch to the front and also added Coral drift roses to the front. It need some color. Last week we put weed&feed on the grass to hopefully bring out the color and get the grass growing. It Still need some improvements and outline on the flower bed but its a work in progress.

Garden Update 4

Busy..Busy..Busy. Our Peas are really growing and starting to cling to everything it touches. yikes I used pencils as a temporary set to keep them growing straight. We planted some more plants Mint, Lavender, a Sweet Salad Mix and Cucumbers. YUM! I can't wait in til everything is starts to grow. Today was a gardening day, in the front Rodney and I fixed some of the plants in the front re~lining them and also put some more mulch in the bed. Also put some weed & feed out in the front lawn. I had no idea its so much Work trying to keep grass growing. I'm having so much fun gardening. In the pictures above are of our puppy's Wyatt has the red bandanna and Tyson w/out one aren't they cute. They are both enjoying the backyard and the grass that is finally growing.

Garden/Backyard Progress 3

This weekend was a working weekend for us. Sunday we did actually mowed the lawn and hung-out in the backyard a little bit. I attempted to fly a kit but I did not go so well. Our grass has really improved a lot, still got patches in the yard but its slowly progressing. I think it might need to be seeded at least one more time. As for the front of our yard. We need to do some work and will post pictures later on.
Garden its really growing. I don't understand why not everything is grow and its taking a really long time to grow or maybe I'm in patient but somethings are growing.

Earth Day

I know, I haven't really contribute to helping the planet a better place by using less energy and using less paper cups. But this pass month has been a expectation and also our new house has played a big role of us being more GREEN. here's how we contribute:

• Cleaning up after our dogs ( did you know that dog poop is bad for the environment)
• Using reusable water bottle
• Maintain a garden
• Turning off the lights when not in the rooms
• reusing plastic items such as milk jugs,yogurt cups, plastic bags
• energy saving light bulbs

theses things are just a couples of things, we try to do to make the world a better place.

Garden

This is what is planted in our garden
Cilantro, Green Beans, Dill, Roman Lettuce, Tomato, Carrots, Jalapeno, Peas, Okra,Watermelon, and Strawberry's
Above the plants has sprouted but not all has sprouted yet in the garden its just some plants started growing more than others. I'm thinking of planting more lettuce since its been a while and it has not sprouted yet. I think everything is going well, we have some good progress with the backyard. I've been shopping around for lawn chairs and tables so be able to go outside with our doggy's and enjoy our outdoor living space. The progress has really grown considering the weather and I'm really excited once its all complete.
