What a busy weekend graduation, birthday party and prep for birth class all in one weekend means a super tried pregnant women! LOL Friday was Mary graduation she graduated with her masters what a accomplishment! I really do look up to her that's a achievement most women can't do in their life time and she did it! Congratulations! Saturday Rodney and I celebrated Sean and Bennie birthdays at a restaurant Chuy's Mexican food. We both had a great time felt like the gang was back together for once, we all hadn't seen each other for a long while. Sunday we went to a Prep for childbirth class it was a really long class both Rodney and I were really tried at this point.. It was an 8 hour class but it was informative. Learn a couple of things and was refreshed in other things. I was really glad to have awesome weekend with friends and family but this pregnancy is really starting to get to me. I'm feeling really tried lately just like first trimester, I feel like I'm slowing down feet and legs are swelling, heartburn never really eases up and stomach is starting to feel heavy. I'm really curious to know how much baby Claire weights, I'm getting anxious to know. 6 weeks left = 46 days :D I'm still working just slower but working and sleeping are my main points right now. I've got so much to get done before she gets here. Our garden is really growing the pumpkins are starting to grow outside the box and the lettuce is slowing starting to inch off the grow. "Life is growing" this pregnancy might have slow me down but life couldn't be any better. I'm ever so grateful I have such a wonderful husband that is helping me along the way.

Its been a rainy day, which I'm glad because at least I know the garden will be plentiful soon! I happened to look out the window today and the pumpkins are already starting to flow outside the box I'm ever so excited about this. I'm ready to see some fruit blooms but I think it might be too early. Today was really a lazy day, Rodney and I ate lunch and than I took a short nap which is starting to come a habit. Today I realize I need to start making out a list of things I want to get accomplished before baby Claire arrives such as cleaning, organizing. I'm excited about this weekend its gonna be a busy weekend. Friday, Mary a close friend is graduating college with her master degree! Saturday is first Scrapbook Meeting, I've never scrapbook but I figure its a good way to make friends in the community. Sunday is birthing prep course, you know I'm excited about this one its all day class but I really hope its informative. Lots of things to look forward too besides working hard and thinking about daily stressers. "Life is too short enjoy what you can because you don't know what's in store tommrrow"

Mothers Day, was great I worked 12hrs but we did celebrate a couple of days early. It seems to be the theme this year since it seems like I'm working every holiday. Rodney took my mom and his mother (no show) and myself out to have Mothers Day dinner. It was great to catch up with my mom. I'm glad it wasn't like last year diaster when I cooked a nice dinner for our mothers and one did show up. Anyways Everything is going well I am super exhausted, I can't get enough sleep. I went to my doctor appoinment today everything seems to be progress fairly well.. This blog is super short but I'm ready to catch some Zzzz...

Tuesday, May 3 was our anniversary both of us had to work. Bummer but since we celebrate a couple days early it was okay. I got home late Tuesday night because my yearly evaluation forms are going to be due soon. I got home opened the fridge and I found a edible fruit bouquet! yummy! I was so surprised I had been talking about getting one for the baby shower and I got one for our anniversary. I am so excited!!! I forgot to mention he also got me aroma therapy bath and body works bath salt, lotion and massaging oil! I am so spoiled and I love it. I'm glad it was a good week so far. We also have some exciting news Rodney is up for a full time position at his job. We hope that he can switch over soon this is gonna be such a big break for us. Its been since last July he had lost his job and got a job in January and now he might be getting a full time position. We are blessed the lord is listening to our prayers. I've gotta be more thankful for the things we have than the things I want.
Garden Update, the garden is really growing the past couple of days we have gotten showers. Every time it rains our garden just shoots off into sprouts and see a dramatic difference in the garden here in the picture is bib lettuce growing. Look their is no holes in the leaves!! I better not say that too loud because we haven't put anything in the garden.
60days or less in til baby Claire is expected to show her face.. We are getting ready for her, we got great advice from a friend and that is to go out as many dates as you can because once the baby comes they are going to be limited. I'm going to take that advice to heart so their are a couple of date nights coming up soon. Stay posted for ideas. Also my sister is going to be coming into town in July so I've been searching for things to do since we is going to be bring her kids along. I know Texas can get hot and with a newborn I'm trying to find things to do low cost but we will see. I didn't know life could get any busy, I'm 31wks pregnant and I'm working full time. I am so tried most days I can just sit on the couch and rest and be fine with it! so I hope to trick myself to stay busy and move around by making a "to do list" at least I'll have a goal each day I'm off so I can get things done.

It isn't quite our anniversary yet but since we were both off this weekend we celebrated Saturday night. In the picture to the left we went to the Ft Worth Botanical Gardens. The rose garden where we got married 3 years ago. It is still breath taking as it was the day we got married. I can't wait for when Claire is old enough we can take her here and tell her this where we got married.
To celebrate we went to Buttons Restaurant, a soul food and Jazz restaurant. We waited for a table about 2 and half hours before we were seated. We ate fried chicken waffles and collard greens the best places to eat this because IHop has no clue how to make this dish! It was so good! I really don't like collard greens but the way they make them they are finger licking good! Chef Hicks makes all the food mostly gourmet upscale soul food. While we ate our food we listen to Mingo Fishtrap band a jazz band they were actually pretty good. Everyone was on the dance floor dancing. We meaning I opted out on dancing I really don't like dance. *Blush. It was a great 3 year anniversary celebration. I'm so happy I can't wait to see what in store for us next year.
